This release introduces updates to the ‘Book me’ feature and other small improvements.

📅 ‘Book me’ update - export contacts

• Booking owners can now export the contact information of all the people who’ve scheduled a session with them through that booking page.
• To export contacts, go to the booking page → More options menu (⋮) → Export booking contacts.
• Apart from contact information and form answers, the following will be exported too:
• Session status (upcoming/ended)Attendance (attended/not attended or empty)
• Session date (session date and start time)
• Participant type (main or guest).

📅 ‘Book me’ update - workspace bookings page

• Booking owners from the same workspace can now list their bookings on a common page (similar to the workspace events page).
• This workspace booking page can be accessed from the ‘Book me’ → Workspace bookings.
• You can choose to embed the workspace booking page on your website or to share the link. The workspace bookings page will display that workspace’s custom branding (logo and session wallpaper).
• We’ve added a new permission: ‘List bookings in workspace’. This permission gives you more control over which workspace members can or cannot list booking on the workspace bookings page. By default, this setting is disabled for Members, but enabled for Owners and Editors.

🎤 Events updates - embed workspace events page

• You can now choose to embed the workspace booking page on your website.
• The permission to list events has been renamed to “List events in workspace”.
• Workspace event pages will now display the text “Events hosted by” followed by the workspace’s name instead of the organization’s.

• Fixed an issue that caused the Breakout Room to be stuck in loading for the owners when using Mac.
• Fixed an issue that caused the camera feed to turn black when a virtual background was enabled.

👥 Multiple organization

• You can now be a member of multiple organizations, not just workspaces.
• All sessions, despite belonging to different organizations, are displayed in Home, Calendar, and Memory.
• The information and settings under Profile → Account settings apply to all your organizations.
• You can switch between organizations from the left sidebar menu.

This release introduces event payment options, a series of improvements, and bug fixes

🎤 Events updates: payments

• You can now set up payment options and charge your participants an event fee when they register for your event.
• To enable payments for events, you will be required to sync your Stripe account with Sessions. This ensures secure and seamless payment processing.
• When adding a payment option to your events, you become responsible for managing all aspects of payment transactions, including refunds, cancellations, and adherence to any terms and conditions set forth.
• Sessions acts solely as a facilitator for payment processing and does not charge any fees or commissions for the event fees.

• Fixed an issue that triggered the ‘Session canceled’ email to be sent to participants who were removed from a session.

• Users can now import Boardmix whiteboards and integrate them seamlessly into their sessions.
• Boardmix whiteboards can be found as resources in the Tools menu after import.
• Please note that Boardmix whiteboard owner must be logged in the same browser instance to fully utilize the Boardmix feature while in Sessions.

⚙️ Improvements and resolved issues

• Fixed an issue that caused the loop feature from video tools (YouTube, Vimeo, uploaded video file) to not work properly.
• Fixed an issue that caused the results from the memory page to be displayed incorrectly when changing pages.

This release introduces a series of improvements for the Book me feature, and bug fixes.

📅 ‘Book me’ updates: preview & troubleshooting

• Booking hosts can now preview the booking flow from a client’s standpoint.
• Booking hosts can troubleshoot and see why a timeslot or a day is unavailable. Based on the information displayed there, you can now find the problem and fix it to free that specific time window.
• The troubleshooting button is available only for hosts on the Booking page.

📩 Custom email templates updates

• You now have an info section for available placeholders that can be used in an email template. This can be found in each email template, top area, next to the email template’s name.
• You now have the language selector option for Reminder emails, to have the reminder type (days, hours, etc.) translated into your desired language.
• Added a new email template: Member activate account. This will be sent when an organization admin invites a member. This can be customized only if the Custom SMTP is enabled and set for that organization.

• We’ve redesigned the UI of a Room for the host/collaborators.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the filters from working properly on the Events list page.

This release introduces the option to live stream your sessions, a new app translation language, as well as other improvements and bug fixes.

🎬 Live streaming

• You can now live stream your sessions or webinars to popular platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitch, and YouTube.
• You can choose to record, live stream, or record and live stream at the same time.
• The option to set up the streaming configuration can be found in Session settings -> Live stream and it’s available only for events, planned sessions, and instant sessions.
• The streaming configuration requires you to add the stream URLs of the desired streaming service, so you can stream on any platform while you have access to these advanced streaming settings.

• We’re introducing a new way to send reminders: via text messages.
• You can create personalized templates to send SMS reminders for your bookings or events.
• This feature requires you to integrate your Twilio account to send SMS reminders through them and have the “Phone number” field in your registration form.

🎤 Events updates: limited number of participants

• You can now limit the number of people who can register for your event.
• You can find this option on your event setup page → Registration section. It applies only to events with active registration forms.
• When the limit is reached, participants will see a message informing them that there are no more seats available. The host will also be informed through email and an in-app notification.

• We’ve added a confirmation message when trying to disable a custom email template.
• Fixed an issue that caused the ‘Something Went Wrong’ page to be displayed when using the global search function while on the Memory page.

This release introduces changes to Events, as well as improvements and bug fixes.

🎤 Events updates

• We’ve redesigned the flow of events. Participants can now join the lobby of an event after they registered, and wait there for the event to start.
• Hosts, co-hosts, and speakers can also join the lobby and start the event or the backstage from the lobby.
• During the backstage, participants that are in the lobby won’t see anything from the backstage. However, any updates or content in chat, polls, Q&A, or any other widget will be later seen in the live event.
• New event access type: private. With this option, only guests invited with their email addresses under the Participants section can join the event. They don’t need to register, but they need to access the link received in the email to join the event.
• Public API methods for Events have been updated to support these new changes.

• Fixed an issue that occasionally caused the “View other members’ details” permission to not be applied properly to Contacts.
• The option to delete the cover image history from the lobby has been added.

This release introduces the call-to-action (CTA) setting for Bookings & Events, changes to a session’s Exit page CTA, updates on how language is displayed during a session, updates to Custom SMTP, and integration with Albato, as well as improvements and bug fixes.

📅 Book me & Events CTA

• You now can add a CTA option in the registration flow of bookings and events (similar to the final CTA from the Exit page).
• After registering for a booked session or an event, the participants can click on the CTA offer.
• You can configure this setting from the Form section of a Booking or Event.

🏷️ Exit page updates

• The final call to action on the Exit page has been extended as a feature on all paid subscriptions.

✉️ Custom SMTP server updates

• SPF type has been removed due to security reasons. The existing SMTP servers with SPF type will be transformed into SMTP type.

🗺️ App translation update

• Guests that join a session will automatically see the live session or event UI in the host's language which can be selected from Profile → Account settings → General.
• Registered Sessions users will still see the UI in their own language.

• You can now integrate Sessions with Albato, connect your favorite app and automate workflows.

This release introduces two-way sync for iCloud calendar, option to delete account, as well as improvements and bug fixes

📅 Two-way sync for iCloud Calendar

• You will now automatically see booked sessions, planned meetings, or webinars scheduled in your selected iCloud Calendar.
• This update will require you to resync your iCloud external accounts.
• For the two-way sync, you can now choose in which calendar you want to send sessions or not. This also applies to Google and Microsoft Calendars.

• When sending verification email, if the verification fails due to config, a proper error message is now displayed.
• Fixed an issue that caused setting up a Custom SMTP server with port 587 to fail.

• Sessions CTA has been removed from Settings → Exit page.
• Sessions CTA from a session or event's Exit page has been replaced by a "Powered by Sessions" badge in the footer.
• For AppSumo Tier 5 & Business plans, we've removed the signup button for participants and the "Powered by Sessions" badge in the footer.

✉️ Custom SMTP server

• You are now able to set up your own custom SMTP server and send emails through that.
• Two types of configurations are available: SMTP and SPF.
• This will be configured at the level of the Organization from Profile → Organization settings → Custom SMTP
• After configuration, you can set it at the workspace level from Workspace settings → General → Custom SMTP option.
• Once set up for a workspace, members from that workspace can choose to use it or not from Custom emails: Profile → Workspace settings → Custom emails → Sender email option.
• With these changes, the following have been relocated:
• Custom email has been moved to Workspace settings → Custom emails.
• Sender email option has been moved from Account settings → General to Workspace settings → Custom emails

🔴 Transcript updates: pinned messages

• You can now pin or bookmark messages in the transcript to review them later.
• You can see all the pins messages from a transcript during the session/event or in Memory.
• This feature is for users with a Sessions account.

💡 Register & Sign in with Apple

• You are now able to register and sign in to Sessions using your Apple account.

🧠 Memory: notes update

• You are now able to edit your notes in Memory.
• This feature is available to all users with a Sessions account.

📅 'Book me' updates

• You are now able to clone booking pages.
• The setting Start week on from Account settings will apply to your booking pages as well.

⚙️ Improvements and resolved issues

• Improved the loading time for the booking page in some specific scenarios for external calendars.
• Fixed an issue with Custom Domain that sometimes triggered a ‘limit reached’ notification instead of the validation one.
• The recording will now be downloaded with the name of the session.

• We're thrilled to announce that the latest version of our browser-based video-conference platform has now a downloadable mobile app and a desktop app version.
• Our desktop app is available for both Windows and Mac operating systems. A Linux version will be available later on.

📅 Book me: External calendar updates

• The process of syncing external calendars for booking availability has been redesigned, giving you more control over the availability of your booking slots.
• The option to select an external calendar for your booking has been moved from the Calendar page. You can now find it in the Book me section.
• You can now configure external calendars to be considered for individual booking pages (under the Schedule section of each booking) or in bulk, for all booking pages. The same applies to booking pages shared with team members (Team routing).

🔊 Conference updates

• We’ve reduced the delay between sound and video.
• We’ve improved additional connectivity issues.
• We’ve improved the audio issues (low sound) when two or more participants are speaking at the same time.
• Fixed an issue that sometimes caused guest participants to not see other attendees in a session.

• Fixed an issue that caused the option to remove yourself from a session to not be displayed.

📩 Custom email templates

• It’s now possible to go onto your profile and customize the email templates.

• For custom emails to work, you need to sync your email account with Sessions. If you disconnect your email account, the system will revert back to the regular Sessions email templates.

• We’ve simplified the way booking forms work: There is now only one step in the booking process and the required and custom fields will show up simultaneously.
• The option to allow participants to invite additional guests to a booking can now be enabled/disabled from the General tab on the Booking setup page.

🏷️ ‘My offers’ - new feature

• You can now create offers/announcements and share them on the main screen during meetings and webinars.
• Add a small image, catchy title, description, and a custom CTA button to your announcement and redirect the participants to an external link.
• Offers is a widget that is disabled by default. When enabled from the Settings menu -> Widgets section, you can import/create your offers and all participants can see them in the widget.
• If you want to set up an offer in advance, you can do so in Account Settings -> My offers. They can then be imported live when you need them.

This release introduces team routing for bookings, more control over external calendars, improvements to the join-in process and other bug fixes.

📅 ‘Book me’ - team routing option

• Users can assign up to 20 workspace collaborators to a booking. This means that the booked sessions will now be distributed between them.
• Workspace collaborators can have different permissions when it comes to editing the booking page, assigning a session to other team members, or accepting a booking.
• The booking’s owner can choose if the bookings will be assigned to the team according to their availability, or they can create a priority list for the team. The booking system will then take into consideration first priority, then availability.
• The booking’s owner can choose to split the schedule into days and/or hours, and assign individual team members for each schedule section.

📅 External calendar update

• Users can now enable/disable external calendar filters from the app. If a user doesn’t want a certain external account to be taken into consideration for their availability, they can disable it from the Sessions Calendar.

📅 ‘Book me’ updates

• Users can add multiple time durations for a booking. When visiting the booking page, guests choose the length of a booked session first, and then proceed with the rest of the registration steps.
• Users can now select how far in advance a booking can be made without limiting the overall availability of a schedule (especially for long-term or indefinite availability schedules).
• Users can now set up a lead time on how close to the current moment they can be booked. For example, users who select 24h, they can only be booked the next day.
• A booking’s 12h/24h time format will now auto-change according to a user's browser settings. However, guests can also manually change the 12h/24h time format from the timezone dropdown.

🎉 Recurrent sessions updates

• Hosts and Co-hosts can now add agendas to their recurring sessions.
• Updates made on the agenda in the Lobby (before it begins) of a recurring session will automatically update all the other recurrent meetings.

👉 Registration form

• Organizers can now add a registration form for their event. They can ask attendees to fill in their name, email address or other details relevant to them, like location and social media links. 
• The registration form is by default enabled, and organizers can fully customize it to include any requirement they may have. 
• Event Moderators and Speakers aren’t required to fill out the registration form.

👉 Advanced settings

• During the preparation stage of an event, organizers can access and edit advanced settings. These include two predefined sets of recommended settings ideal for managing participants easier during webinars, events or workshops.
• These settings can always be customized to suit the user's needs as much as possible.

👉 Participants' details

• Organizers can now see the complete list of participants who registered for the event, including the host, co-host and speakers. The list can be exported as a CSV file, and it will contain details submitted by participants in the registration stage.
