Depending on your needs, you can create three types of online meetings:
- one that starts on the spot (Instant session)
- ne that starts in the future (Planned session)
- a permanent meeting space in Rooms
Instant session
An Instant session starts on the spot. Hosts decide what tools and agendas to use. They can configure these details as they go.
➡ Read more about Instant session.
Before joining the live session, all participants (including you as the Host) will have to allow Audio-Video Setup and figure out details you will encounter in the pre-join screen.
If you’re the Host, you can start an Instant session by clicking this option in Home.
Planned session
A Planned session goes live only when the Host or Assistant clicks on the Start session button from the Lobby.
➡ Read more about Planned session.
Attendees can chat, send questions, raise their hands, fill in forms, vote in polls, draw, type, and work collectively on Whiteboard by Sessions , Miro or Google Docs during live sessions.
In addition, participants can write down anything they want in Notes throughout the meeting and receive them via email* when the session is over. Or they can choose to send them to Evernote or Notion.
Hosts can choose to add an Agendas. When the session is over, registered users will get to access it again anytime they want in Memory.
