Adobe XD is a comprehensive design tool for web and mobile apps dedicated to creating realistic prototypes that help you generate spectacular user experiences.
You can now export your designs directly to Sessions after creating them in Adobe XD. This integration helps you reduce the time spent switching between platforms and solves sharing links or screens.
Be it with co-workers or clients, you can now easily share and discuss your work while still maintaining audio and visual contact.
Adobe XD requires a set of actions before using it in Sessions:
- You have an Adobe XD user account and Adobe installed on your computer.
- You installed the Sessions plugin for Adobe XD.
Installing the Sessions plugin
Installing the Sessions extension will help you easily export designs and prototypes from Adobe XD directly into Sessions.
- For that, go to Creative Cloud Desktop ➡ Plugins ➡ All plugins.
- Search for “Sessions” and install the extension.
- You'll see the Sessions plugin on the left side of the screen. Click on Login with Sessions to sync your Adobe account with Sessions.
- You'll be redirected to give permissions to Adobe. Click on Allow.
- Return to the Adobe XD app. You'll be notified that "Adobe XD and Sessions are now connected".
- After that, click on Export to have your visuals ready for you in Sessions.
How to embed Adobe XD during a live session (no agenda):
- Press
Ctrl + K
/Command + K (iOS users)
or click on the Share button (bottom left corner). - If the Adobe XD frame has been previously exported, type in its name in the input box. If not, type in “Adobe XD”.
- Choose one of the recently used Adobe XD frames listed there or click on Open Adobe XD.
- If you haven’t installed the Sessions plugin already, you’ll be redirected to install it.
- Follow the instructions listed in this article under Installing the Sessions plugin.
❌ To remove Adobe XD and return to standard conference mode, hover over the button showing the name of your (bottom left corner). Click Remove file.

How to add Adobe XD to an agenda item (during a live session):
If you have an agenda already embedded in the live meeting and you want to include Adobe XD, this is how you can do it:
- Press
Alt + Z
/Option + Z
or hover over the button named after your current agenda item (bottom left corner). Click on Edit agenda. - Click on ➕ to add a new agenda item.
- Click on the Share button on the new agenda item.
- If the Adobe XD frame has been previously exported to Sessions, type in its name in the input box. If not, type in “Adobe XD”.
- Choose one of the recently used Adobe XD frames or click on Open Adobe XD.
- If you haven’t installed the Sessions plugin already, you’ll be redirected to install it.
- Follow the instructions listed in this article under Installing the Sessions plugin.
To remove the tool, file or link you've attached to an agenda item, follow these steps:
- Press
Alt + Z
/Option + Z
or hover over the button named after your current agenda item (bottom left corner). - Click on Edit agenda (
Alt + Z
/Option + Z
). - Click on the ⊖ button next to the tool/file/link you want to remove.
How to add Adobe XD to an agenda template (before a session starts):
- Go to Sessions Home → Agendas.
- Click on New agenda.
- Click on the Share button that's attributed to an agenda item.
- If the form has been previously exported to Sessions, type in its name in the input box. If not, type in "Adobe XD".
- Click on Adobe XD.
- Choose one of the recently exported frames or click on Open Adobe XD.
- Done. Changes are automatically saved.
