Sessions cloud-based recordings are created from a participant’s perspective. This way, Hosts don't have to worry about having enough storage space available for the recording, and participants* can revisit the recording anytime they want directly in Sessions.

🙌 How to record a session or event:

Start a session or event.
Go to the Control bar.
Click on the Recording (🔴) button.

Only Hosts and Assistants can record a session or event. Assign the role of Assistant to one or more team members so they can help you start the recording when the right moment comes.

⏰ How to schedule your recording:

This option can be enabled for

before they start. If a meeting or event is live, the recording can only be started manually by the Host or Assistants.

Go to Session settings (for Planned session) or Advanced settings (for Events).
Toggle on the Automatic recording option.
When the session or event starts, the recording will automatically start.

🏋️ How to access your recordings:

Go to Sessions Home.
Access Memory (left sidebar).
Find the session or event you want to revisit and click on it.
Click Play recording.
A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to watch the recording.

On the left side of the pop-up windows, access More options (⋮) to:

Download the recording to your local device
Delete recording

. If you don't want them to access this recording, use the toggle on the upper right corner under Settings.

📝 Recording particularities:

, you can start recording the activity from a room. However, please remember that switching from one room to another will stop the recording.
If you refreshed the page or you have technical issues and the recording is interrupted, you’ll be prompted to resume the recording after returning to the meeting or event.
