Where can you find your subscription:
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- This is where you can see your current subscription plan.
How to upgrade from a free account to a paid subscription:
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Choose the subscription plan that suits your needs.
- Choose if you want to pay annually or monthly.
- Click on Get plan.
- Review the order summary.
- Click Continue.
- Introduce your card details. If you prefer, you can use PayPal.
- After processing your subscription, you’ll find all the relevant information under Billing (e.g. when your trial ends, when is your next payment, etc.).
How to upgrade your subscription plan
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Find the plan you upgrade to.
- Click Upgrade.
- You’ll be informed about the new monthly or yearly charge. Click Upgrade to confirm your decision.
- Done. You can see all the relevant information about your subscription plan under Billing.
How to downgrade your subscription
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Find the plan you downgrade to.
- Click Downgrade.
- You’ll be informed about the new monthly or yearly charge. Click Downgrade to confirm your decision.
- Done. You can see all the relevant information about your subscription plan under Billing.

- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Go to Billing.
- Scroll down to Invoices.
- Click View receipts.
How to cancel your subscription
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Under Plans, click Cancel subscription. (upper right side)
- Confirm that you want to cancel your active subscription.
- Done.

How to purchase more team members
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Go to Billing.
- Under Metered services - Team members, click on Add.
- Select how many team members you want to have.
- Click Confirm.
- Done. You’ll be charged for the extra team members you’ve purchased.
How to purchase more recording hours
- Go to your profile (lower left corner).
- Go to Organization settings.
- Click on Subscriptions.
- Go to Billing.
- Under Metered services - Recording hours, click on Add.
- Select how many recording hours you want to have.
- Click Confirm.
- Done. You’ll be charged for the extra hours you’ve purchased.

1. Why am I being moved to a free Sessions account?
Until now, everyone who signed up for Sessions entered a free special trial, allowing them full access to the platform for free while giving us feedback. After testing multiple types of payment plans, we’re ready to fully implement our pricing tiers. This is a good thing because it means that Sessions is maturing, and you can look forward to many new and exciting features.
2. What am I able to do on a free account?
You can do the following:
- Meet for up to 60 minutes at a time
- Have up to 25 people in a session
- Host as many meetings as you like
- Host 1 webinar per month (with custom landing and registration pages)
- Create 1 meeting room with a permanent link
- Create 1 Book me page
- Get 1 hour’s worth of cloud recording storage per month
- Create and use interactive agendas
- Embed files, tools, and links as usual
- Use noise reduction and custom backgrounds
- Use all interaction tools: Chat, Notes, Q&A, Polls, Takeaways, etc

3. When will I be moved to the free account?
You’ll automatically be moved to the free account on the 21st of December, 2023.
4. Can I sign up for a free trial again?
Yes, you can sign up for a 14-day free trial on any of our pricing tiers. If you want to avoid being charged, you need to cancel your subscription before the trial period runs out.

You can view all the tiers here and sign up for the one that suits you best.
6. I’m an existing customer of Sessions. Will I be rewarded for supporting Sessions and sharing my feedback?
Of course 😃 We are super grateful for the support of our early adopters. As a thank you, you’ll get 50% discount if you upgrade to a paid plan. This offer is valid until 31 January 2024.
7. If I don’t upgrade, what happens to my existing data and upcoming sessions and events?
Rest assured, nothing will be deleted, but the features that fall under a paid plan won’t work anymore. For example, the AI Copilot is only available on paid plans. If you have three Book Me pages and you’re only allowed one, all booking pages will be disabled and you can choose which one you would like to keep. The same concept applies to upcoming events and meeting rooms.
8. What about my existing data and upcoming sessions and events?
You can start your session as usual, but 10 minutes before reaching the 60-minute limit, you’ll get a warning message that the session will end soon.
9. What if I planned a session or event with 100 participants?
On the free plan, only 25 people can join a session. When another participant tries to join after reaching that liming, you’ll get a notification and the option to upgrade.
10. What if I run out of cloud recording hours?
Don’t worry, we won’t stop your recording halfway through your live session. You just won’t be able to record any new sessions that month unless you upgrade. It's also possible to purchase extra recording hours on the Starter plan.
11. What payment system do you use?
We use Paddle as our payment processing platform, which means we never handle your payment details directly and do not have access to your payment data. Paddle adheres to stringent data privacy and security standards, having completed a Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 audit for 2023. Additionally, Paddle is compliant with GDPR and PCI DSS SAQ A Requirements. So, you are in good hands.
12. How long will it take for my upgrade to take effect?
If you have an active subscription and upgrade to a higher tier, the upgrade will be instant. You won't need to add your credit card details again; it will be charged to the card you added during sign-up.
13. How do I cancel my subscription renewal?
You can downgrade via your Subscriptions page under Organization Settings. You will not receive a refund for the fees you already paid for your current subscription period, but you’ll be able to access your paid plan and all its features until the end of your current subscription period. If you decide to cancel the renewal, you should cancel your subscription prior to the next billing term.
